There are many competitions that you can enter. For the most part all entries can be entered online and you can pay the entry fee online as well.
Alameda County Fair Wine Competition just opened their 2025 competition two weeks ago. Entries deadline is 2/21/25 so there is plenty of time to enter. Below you will find the entry information for Alameda County Fair Wine Competition.
The Entry Information includes a link to enter online. The process if pretty easy but if you run into any difficulty you can contact info@lavawine.org. Alameda entry fee is $5 per wine and two bottles of each wine are required. Once you have entered, print the packing material and delivery your wine to the Lodi
Wine Lab and Alameda will pick it up.

CA State Fair Home Wine Competition – Look it up online and you’ll see it is “coming Soon”. Entry is online and the fee is $20 per bottle, one bottle per wine and drop off is Lodi Wine Lab
Orange County Home Wine Competition – Entry deadline is 6/6/24. Entry is online and fee is $20 per bottle, one bottle per entry is required. As of now there is no drop offsite. Entries must be shipped to the fair grounds
WineMaker Amateur Wine Competition – Entry deadline is 3/7/25. Entry fee per bottle is $30 and one bottle is required. Wine must be shipped to VT.
