Who are we?

LAVA, established in January 2001, is a vibrant community dedicated to advancing amateur winemaking in the Lodi, California region. Through engaging monthly meetings, members exchange insights, expertise, and resources, fostering a collaborative environment for continuous learning. The organization regularly hosts guest speakers from the esteemed local commercial wine industry, offering members invaluable opportunities to refine their techniques at every stage of the winemaking process, from tending to grapevines to bottling the final product. LAVA serves as a central hub for winemaking knowledge, actively gathering and disseminating information and innovative ideas to benefit both its members and the wider community.

The LAVA holds monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. These meetings are hosted at various locations and focus on educational topics. For specific meeting location information, please refer to the Events Calendar or contact info@lavawine.org
